£280
Victorian Scottish silver mounted tipstaff, one end with Edinburgh crest and 'Nisi Dominus Frustra', and the other with VR cypher, the central band inscribed Councillor's Baton 1856, with Edinburgh hallmarks, 11cm long
No obvious damage or repairs. Around the centre, only some of the "pin holes" seem to have pins in, but this appears to be the original design.
There does not appear to be an obvious date letter in the hallmarks.
